Volunteering

The Tamborine Mountain Regional Botanic Gardens is one of very few Botanic Gardens in Australia administered entirely by volunteers. We welcome new volunteers. No special skills are necessary, just a willingness to help out. The general volunteers work every Thursday from 8am to 12 noon although hours are flexible. You commit to whatever suits your capabilities. If you wish to join the Potty Potters, work day is Wednesday. Come to the work shed beyond the toilet block between 9.45 and 10.15 when we come together for morning tea.

Getting Here

Tamborine Mountain is in the Hinterland of the Gold Coast in SE Queensland. It is easily accessed from the M1 Motorway Exit 57 at Oxenford and by following the signs to Tamborine Mountain.
