The renowned Potty Potters of Tamborine Mountain Regional Botanic Gardens are working hard to prepare a massive two-day plant sale for visitors on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26.
The sale coincides with the annual Springtime on the Mountain open gardens festival.
The sale at the Gardens lower car park will begin at 8am and close at midday each day – unless sold out earlier. Plants range in price from $5 and both cash and card payments are accepted.
Potty Potter Jan Collis said: “The sale will offer a wide range of perennial plants in many shapes and sizes, in full flower or budding. We are also focusing on bare rooted plants including a great collection of clivias and hippeastrums. As gardeners know well, bare rooted means bargain prices!
“Of course, we will have some interesting succulents – they are very popular at the moment.”
Entry to the Botanic Gardens is free and visitors can enjoy a juicy sausage sizzle.
Botanic gardens President, Greg Ingold, said: “The Botanic Gardens are looking wonderful at this time of year. Our team of volunteers has been working especially hard to ensure the entire site is putting on its best display.”
Visitors are most welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the ambience of the Gardens.
