Love is on the lake

For the last few weeks a love story has been unfolding on the Lake at the Botanic Gardens. After being by herself on the lake for some time, a Dusky Moor Hen was joined by a Pacific Black Duck. For a while, they kept their distance. However, as time passed they started to spend more and more time swimming together. Now, they are inseparable.

The attached photo shows the happy couple.
